A Quilt for Gavin

One of my husband's favorite things to do is golf and meet new people.  He often says he loves to meet new people and hear their stories over most anything else.  With every trip he takes, there is always someone new he meets and another story to be told.  He is a great connector of people.  During a particular trip to Florida, he set out to golf as a single and was paired up with a wonderful Kentucky father and son team.   They got along so well, that they exchanged numbers and have been friends ever since.  While I had yet to meet them, it just so happened that the wife of the son was expecting and my husband was going to be seeing them soon.  So I whipped up a quilt for their newborn baby Gavin.  It's a Eye Spy Polaroid quilt featuring various novelty fabrics offering the child a fun game as well as quilt.
